Necessary equipment

- Parchment paper
- 1 spatula

Steps
- Pre-heat the oven to 180C, place a parchment paper on a baking tray
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients (except for the fig jam, keep aside)
- Wear gloves and roll your dough into balls
- Insert a small hole in the middle of your dough to add a teaspoon of fig jam, then place the fig cookies on the parchment paper, without keeping them too close to one another
- Bake for 15mins (this can vary based on the size of your fig newtons)
