Ingredients

  • 60 g almond flour
  • 35 g coconut flour
  • 150 g almond butter
  • 50 g maple syrup
  • 4 g baking powder
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Fig jam

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C, place a parchment paper on a baking tray

  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients (except for the fig jam, keep aside)

  3. Wear gloves and roll your dough into balls

  4. Insert a small hole in the middle of your dough to add a teaspoon of fig jam, then place the fig cookies on the parchment paper, without keeping them too close to one another

  5. Bake for 15mins (this can vary based on the size of your fig newtons)
